The "new year, new me" period has started to dwindle now that January is over.
Why? Because we want to reach our goal weight or muscle mass goal in a month's time. In an ideal world we would have these instant results as soon as we start working out, but that's not the case. In order to get results, CONSISTENCY IS KEY!
What this mean is that getting those muscles and abs that we've dreamt about, will take time and dedication. You have to be consistent with your workouts and nutrition in order to see results.
Consistency helps you stay motivated, builds your endurance, keeps up your metabolic rate, and helps reduce the probability of injuries. If we start slacking off and not being consistent with our workouts and nutrition, all of those things start to decrease, and it'll be harder for you to get back into the swing of things come the Spring when people start working out for their summer bodies.
